Why Flange Protectors?
We could see that there was a gap in the market for push in flange protectors that are manufactured in the UK. In fact, there were none being made in the UK! We saw the opportunity for Thredgards to fill this need.
The project was a large undertaking, but with a lot of research and investment, we made it happen.
Many hours of design work went into the flange protectors to meet customer needs before engaging a tool maker to produce multiple moulds for us. This has taken a number of years due to the complexity and sizable investment.

Benefits of our Flange Protectors
Because we make them in house, we keep stock for customers who order regularly. Meaning flange protectors can be shipped the same day they are ordered.
Buying parts made in Britain has benefits too. For British companies, buying parts from UK manufactures can reduce your carbon footprint. Shorter shipping distances use less fuel.
Shipping within Britain is also generally cheaper and simpler than shipping from abroad. It gives you better control over your costs and avoids having to deal with constantly changing international trading factors such as navigating different customs and tax rules.
