Delivery

We use Royal Mail, DX Freight, Bullet Express and Courier Connections for all of our shipping depending on location and the size of the shipment. However, we can make no guarantee about the arrival time of a product once it is in the hands of the Royal Mail/Couriers. For example, DX next day service does not mean next day delivery from when your order was placed. It means next day delivery from when the order has been processed and shipped. Please confirm with a Thredgards team member at the point of ordering for specific delivery details/times.

Stock

If your item is not in stock, we will place this on back order for you, however we aim to ship all items within 7 days. 93% of orders of our caps and plugs are fulfilled on the same day they are received due to the stock control measures in place.

Damage / Loss in Transit / Non Delivery

DX Freight

It is your responsibility to inspect the goods promptly on arrival. You must make any claims for damage, non-delivery, and loss in transit or late delivery. This must be within 24 hours of the delivery date. It is your responsibility to check that the number of parcels being delivered corresponds with the consignment note. If not, the note should be amended accordingly before signature. If the consignment is being delivered later than specified, it is your responsibility to write the time of receipt on the consignment note. If there is any apparent damage to the parcel, it is your responsibility to annotate the consignment note.

Royal Mail

You will need to claim directly against Royal Mail for any items that arrive damaged or are lost in transit. Royal Mail does not consider a claim before 28 working days have passed in the case of lost items. Therefore, once 28 days have passed, a claim can be sent to Royal Mail. Thredgards are not liable for replacing lost items sent via Royal Mail because it is Royal Mail who are providing the delivery service. They have their own procedures for lost or damaged goods and are liable to sort out a claim. Thredgards will be happy to assist you in your claim with Royal Mail. If you wish a guaranteed signed for delivery, please email info@thredgards.com with this request for a cost, or call our sales team on 01259 218181.

Pallets

We can track goods sent via Bullet Express or Courier Connections, so please contact us should you require this. It is your responsibility to inspect the goods promptly on arrival. You must make any claims for damage, non-delivery, and loss in transit or late delivery within 24 hours of the delivery date. When signing for your consignment, it is your responsibility to check that the number of pallets being delivered corresponds with the number of pallets stated on the consignment note. If this is not the case, the note should be amended accordingly before signature. If the consignment is being delivered later than specified, it is your responsibility to write the time of receipt on the consignment note. If there is any apparent damage to the pallet, it is your responsibility to annotate the consignment note accordingly.
