New Contract Award

We are pleased to announce the commencement of a contract to manufacture a revolutionary golf product for Australian firm DivotEND – see www.divotend.com

The product will be marketed worldwide and Thredgards has fought off competition from the Far East to win this contract. As a result, the product will be engraved with “Forged in Scotland” – a fitting aspect for the Home of Golf.

ISO Accreditation

Thredgards were pleased to gain the International Quality Management Certificate ISO9001:2008 and also the International Environmental Management Certificate ISO14001:2004 in February 2010. This came about after a comprehensive review of our business processes and making a renewed commitment to provide best possible service and value for money for our customers.  Through certification we continue to demonstrate our desire to provide high quality products and customer service, causing minimum impact to the environment. After our first year of certification we have been recently been visited by an external auditor who has re-certified us confirming that we are dedicated to best practice.

We are delighted to be able to share this good news with our customers and hope that it reassures you of our professionalism and high standards.

Customer Survey

Last year we conducted a customer satisfaction survey.

We were really delighted with the results of the survey which showed Thredgards in a very positive light. Some of the key messages to come out of the survey were:

• Over 80% felt that we had improved our customer service to you in the last twelve months
  
• Everyone said they were very happy with our sales support.
  
• 97% of you were pleased with the quality of our products. As part of our commitment to continual improvement we will of course work very hard to increase that satisfaction to 100%
  
• 100% of you would be happy to recommend Thredgards to others - a fantastic result. Thanks for your vote of confidence
  
• We were delighted that after our efforts to gain ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 over 70% of you felt it was relevant to your organisation that we had gained that certification
  
• It was good for us to find out that over two thirds of you felt that we performed better than our competitors. Again we are striving to supercede this figure. Please let us know how you feel we could do better for you.
  
  In view of the results you have given us, and of the current economic climate, we are working very hard to ensure that we deliver best quality, value for money and provide an excellent level of service to you.
